What is the difference between epoxy resin AB glue and MODIFIED ACRYLIC AB ADHESIVE (BOXES)? What are the disadvantages?

Epoxy resin AB glue:

1. The commonly used two-component epoxy resin usually takes several hours to reach the use strength, and its mixing ratio is higher. One-component epoxy resin often needs to be heated, so the internal capsule curing agent is broken and the operation is inconvenient;
2. One-component epoxy may have capillary effect. On the construction surface with a small gap (about 10 microns), because the particle diameter of the curing agent is too large, it cannot penetrate into the gap, resulting in uneven distribution of some glue components, resulting in the phenomenon that it cannot be cured;
3. Strong rigidity, low curing shrinkage, which can be controlled below 1%. All kinds of resistance are excellent, and the working temperature can reach 300 degrees;
4. All electronic or other products that need fast bonding and fixing can be used; it is not suitable for bonding elastic or soft material products.
5. It is widely used in the bonding and fixing of electronic components, handicrafts and gifts. It has excellent bonding strength for packaging and bonding between metals, ceramics, wood, glass and hard plastics;
6. From the perspective of the main products in the market, the smell of acrylic is stronger, and the smell of epoxy resin is slightly lower, which will make it easier for workers to accept
7. After curing, the water resistance and solvent resistance of epoxy are stronger.

MODIFIED ACRYLIC AB ADHESIVE (BOXES):

1. The reaction speed of acrylic acid is fast, and its fastening speed is obviously better than that of epoxy resin;
2. A wide range of bonding materials such as steel, iron, aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, plastic, glass, ceramics, etc., suitable for automobiles, motorcycles, mechanical and electrical engineering, chemical pipelines, handicrafts, household appliances manufacturing, installation and repair;
3. It has a wide range of applicability. After curing, the adhesive film has good toughness, strong impact resistance and shear force, and good weather resistance;
4. At room temperature (25°C), it can quickly bond various metals of the same or different types to each other, as well as magnets, ceramics, stone, wood, hard PVC, FRP, etc. Widely used in metal products, plastic products industries, mechanical and electrical industries, chemical pipelines, automobile water tanks, fuel tanks, elevator industries, etc.;
5. After curing, the strength of epoxy resin AB glue is stronger, but it will be brittle, and the strength of modified acrylic AB glue is slightly lower, but softer;
6. In terms of reaction and curing time, acrylic AB glue will be relatively faster;

7. The curing shrinkage rate is different, and the curing shrinkage rate of MODIFIED ACRYLIC AB ADHESIVE (BOXES) is larger.
